Cutaway Model as Training Tool

KiwiMill recently completed a cut-away working model of a gate valve for
FMC Technologies.
The model‘s purpose is to serve as a maintenance training tool for employees. With that goal in mind, it’s designed to pull apart and reveal removable parts that can be reassembled as needed. The wheel turns, moving the gate up and down the threaded rod.
This training model is ½ the size of the real object and lighter, making hands-on training more accessible. By creating an exact replica of the actual valve, the realism of the training exercise is preserved as well.
