Large Scale Rotating Radar Dish

The Intelcan radar dish was made in a very short two week lead time. The main frame of the radar is fabricated from welded aluminum, the dish is made from thermoformed acrylic and the back of the dish was sculpted out of foam an covered with fiberglass for strength. The entire unit sits on top of a base that rotates the dish at 6 RPM.
