With over 50 years experience creating scale models for our customer’s trade shows, A&M Model Makers has the knowledge needed to create not only a nice looking model, but one that will stand up to the abuses of the numerous “gorilla hands” that handle your models. A trade show model differs from a typical display model  because it must be strong and durable first and look great second. If the model doesn’t arrive in one piece or breaks when handled, it will be of no use to you at the show. Also, a scale model for a trade show must be packaged differently to handle the mistreatment often incurred during packing, shipping and unpacking.

To accomplish the strength and durability in our models, we often use strong materials in place of plastics and wood used by other companies. We will, for example, use brass and aluminum that is fastened with screws, brazed or even welded together to create a strong framework.
